  • No one complained so far about us sending PDF attachments - so why should we care?

    Studies show that 9/10 CVs never get deleted from inboxes.

  • Our recruitment software already has a feature to send online CVs - How can we use Skilldrop

    Skilldrop is an integration hub.


    By connecting your current recruitment system so that it can share a CV via Skilldrop, you give the benefit to your clients that they can collect all shared CVs (no matter from which recruitment system or CV database it comes from) in one central place. 

  • We have many professionals sending CVs to us via email - Can they send Skilldrop profiles to us?

    Yes, absolutely! And it's free!


    Skilldrop is built to be a one to one replacement for email attachments. 


    Simply ask them to create a profile on skilldrop and send you a link. (the profile will be displayed under "shared with me" in your account).


  • We have people uploading CVs to us in a website contact form - Can we use Skilldrop?

    Absolutely.


    The simplest way to change it is to just add a URL field in your form for them to paste in a Skilldrop link.  Then all works out of the box!

FAQ - Companies and Organisations
  • We get most applications through our Applicant Tracking System - Why do we need Skilldrop?

    Skilldrop does not replace your current tools. It complements them:


    Skilldrop handles all the CVs that does not flow through your recruitment software. This might be CVs coming in from external recruitment partners, consulting agencies etc. 


    These are common scenarios for how in-house recruiters and HR departments use Skilldrop:

    • Ask all your 3rd party suppliers to share Skilldrop links instead of sending email attachments. That way, you will be able to collect all profiles in your Skilldrop account (in the "shared with me" tab), instead of having them spread out in your inbox. 
    • If your current Applicant Tracking System does not have the feature to share CVs online. You can easily upload the CVs you want to share on Skilldrop and then from there share them with hiring managers, interviewers etc.
    • Ask your "Recruitment software provider" to integrate with Skilldrop so that you can share CVs directly from the tool you use on a daily basis.  
  • Can you help onboarding our external agencies to use Skilldrop?

    Yes we can. 


    We have ready made processes and we can take care of the transformation for you.

  • Is it free to use Skilldrop?

    It's free to receive and view links, just like if you would receive the CVs as email attachments. 


    It's free for all individuals and freelancers to use Skilldrop. 


    If you manage other people's profiles, e.g. you are a consultant manager and want to send a CV on behalf of one of your employees, you can either use the free account or you can choose to upgrade to a paid account.

  • Can I create multiple profiles?

    Yes you can.


    We understand that when you apply for jobs or contracts you may have different CVs depending on what type of role you apply for.


    You can create as many profiles as you need for free.
